Global Warming Response was founded in 1999 based on the realization that Global Energy Reform was not going to be achieved overnight, or indeed for many decades!
Consequently we launched our first initiative – STEP [Short-Term Environmental Program], a series of stop-gap measures designed to get the human race through the 21st century.
STEP is not ideal, but is a compromise which takes into account the time-lag involved in changing the lifestyle of billions of human beings.
We are a small group and entirely independent. Independence means no interference but also no financial support!! We welcome you to our site and look forward to your comments.
